Rules & Regulations

It is important that everyone understands and respects the Rules and Regulations of Swan Lake Estates to ensure the safe and harmonious enjoyment of our facilities. The following are excerpts from the Rules and Regulations of Swan Lake Estates, which are important to emphasize at this time. Eligibility:

  • Only active members and their guests (must be accompanied by a member) are entitled to use Swan Lake facilities.
  • Swan Lake facilities include the lake (fishing, swimming, and boating), the playgrounds, any of the islands or docks, the beach house and parking areas, the clubhouse, and pavilion picnic areas.

Boating:

  • No Wake/Maximum Speed 5 MPH. Jet Ski's are NOT ALLOWED!
  • Boaters are not permitted to tow any person or objects behind them.
  • Boaters may not play loud music, create unnecessary disturbances, or operate the boat in an unsafe manner.
  • From October 2 – April 30, boats must be off the lake between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and a half-hour before sunrise. From May 1 – October 1, boats must be off the lake between the hours of 10:00 p.m. until half hour before sunrise. There may be exceptions to the curfew for community events organized by the Board of Directors.

Fishing:

  • Fishing is prohibited from the entire beach, Play ground areas or from the lake in the immediate vicinity of the beach, This is to ensure the physical safely from injury of our members and children caused from lost fishing lures or fishing hooks.
  • Fishing is Prohibited from the boat launch area dock. 

Bass:

  • Catch and release only from March 1st to June 30th
  • Min 16″ – Max 20″
  • Limit one per day

Crappie:

  • Min 6″ – Max none
  • Limit 25 per day

Catfish:

  • Min 6″ – Max none
  • Limit 8 per day

Bream:
 

  • No restrictions

Carp:
 

  • Catch and Release only
